Don’t miss your chance to compete in this German style competition with awesome prizes!

 

Join us for the 5th Annual Oktoberfest Olympiad games including the Stein Race, Barrel Roll, Bucket Race, and the Legendary Brat Toss!

 

This year all attendees can participate for free!

Arrive early to sign-up in teams of 2 to ensure

your spot in the Olympiad Games!!

Houston Sport & Social Club Fun Zone

TONS OF FUN AWAITS!

 

The Houston Sport & social Club Fun Zone will be in effect with a live DJ and plenty of fun activities like cornhole, giant jenga, and more!

 

Come by the fun zone throughout the day and sign up for challenges like the Stein Hoisting Competition or Beer Pong & Flip Cup Tournaments! There will also be plenty of contests like the chicken dance, best dressed, and yodeling contest so come ready to party!

Paid parking is available in City of Houston Lot H and Lot C.

Please identify a designated driver or safe ride home prior to drinking alcoholic beverages.

  • Is there an admission fee to the event?

    Yes. A variety of tickets can be purchased here.

  • Are dogs allowed?

    No. Currently, dogs are not allowed for the general safety of animals and attendees alike.

  • Will you email me information closer to the event?

    Yes, please subscribe to our mailing list to receive last minute updates and promotions for Oktoberfest Houston.

  • Where are the toilets located?

    Plenty of port-o-potties will be located on site. Also public restrooms can also be found next to Bike Barn outside the festival grounds.

  • Can I bring my own chairs,coolers, food, drinks or alcohol?

    No chairs, coolers or outside food and drinks  are allowed.  You may bring a picnic blanket for lawn seating.

  • Can I bring my services and products out to the event?

    No. However, if you have a product or service that you would like to exhibit at the event, please contact the event organizers for sponsorship information.

  • Where is lost and found?

    The box office will be used as the lost and found location.

  • When is the Oktoberfest Houston?

    Saturday, September 24, 2016 from Noon to 6PM

  • Where is the event located?

    The event is located at the Water Works on Buffalo Bayou, 105 Sabine St, Houston, TX 77007.

  • When do the gates open?

    Gates open at 12:30PM, sharp!

  • Are children allowed at this event?

    Yes! Children under the age of 15 have free admission. Please note that the consumption of alcoholic beverages will be taking place throughout the venue.

  • Will there be food?

    Yes, there will be a variety of German food vendors as well as other types of tasty foods available for purchase at the event.

  • Can I purchase tickets at the gate?

    Yes. Tickets can be purchased at the gate if the event is not sold out. We highly encourage pre-purchasing tickets online to guarantee entry and the published online rates.

  • Where can I park?

    Paid parking will be available in City of Houston Lots H and C. Also street parking and garages may be available downtown in the Theater District which is walking distance to the site.

  • Can I dress up?

    Of course! We will be having a costume contest, so come dressed in your best lederhosen, dirndls, country gear or whatever you please!
